The multiverse of Fortnite never stops! The battle royale is known for forging epic partnerships between pop-culture giants, including Marvel, DC, LEGO, and Star Wars, alongside famous music artists like The Weeknd and Eminem. Exciting crossovers and collabs like this entice newer fans to try Fortnite as they get to play as carbon virtual copies of their favorite TV show characters.
In Chapter 5 Season 1, we're now taking a deep dive into the sewers as Epic Games has revealed their latest collaboration, with Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles!
Read on for the start date of the Fortnite x TMNT event, the possible quests, and rewards coming in Fortnite's latest crossover event.
The official Fortnite Twitter account revealed that the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle Fortnite event will begin on February 9, right after the newest v28.20 update on February 6.
The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle event is expected to close out Chapter 5, Season 1, paving the way for the next installation Fortnite and Epic Games have to offer.
It's no secret that the Fortnite map is heavily inspired by the TMNT universe, with teleporting sewer systems, pizza boxes, and other easter eggs nodding to the cartoon series.
Once the TMNT Fortnite event launches, a special tab will be next to the Battle Pass menu, with unique event-themed quests that'll give players exclusive rewards.
A set of prelude Fortnite x TMNT quests are already active on the game under the Quests tab. The current set of challenges is called "April O'Neil Investigates" and only rewards players with free Battle Pass XP upon completion.
April can be found at the Rescue Station by the Scout Tower. This is the landmark northeast of Reckless Railways and northwest of Grand Glacier
Players can find Sewers dotted across the Fortnite map. If you want to get two quests with one stone, you can head to the Sewer Entrance near the Ship! It Station, which takes you directly to the Underground HQ.
As mentioned above, you can head to the manhole sewer cover by the Ship! It Station to get taken directly to the Underground HQ.
As the hero's favorite snack, three pizza boxes are strewn across the Fortnite map. There's one near Vengeance Jones by the Underground HQ landmark. The second is in the Underground HQ southern exit, and the final is by the northern exit.
We'll update this section when the actual TMNT Fortnite quests launch, so keep your eyes peeled!
Because the Fortnite x TMNT event is not currently active, we have yet to determine what the free rewards for the event will look like. These will follow the lines of emotes, pickaxes, back bling, and Battle Pass XP. If you want easily obtained free rewards, try our Fortnite codes and free skins!
We can assume they will follow the event's theme, even with possible skins for each main character: Leonardo, Michelangelo, Donatello, and Raphael, although we suspect these will be available in the Item Shop rather than through completing quests.
Each turtle may come with their own unique back bling or pickaxe, like Leonardo’s Katana Saya, Donatello’s Bo Staff Sheath, Michelangelo’s Nunchucks & Skateboard, and Raphael’s Sai Backpack.
That was all our information on the upcoming Fortnite crossover event with Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles! Seeing these lively, fierce characters back on our screens is a dose of nostalgia we all needed in 2024. We'll update this article as more information becomes available, so stay tuned!
